How it works

Three simple steps

1. Tell your friend about TrueForm, and that you may earn a thank-you. Share our website or phone number: trueformdfw.com, (214) 218-6693.
2. They name you. When they request an estimate, they type your name in "Who referred you?", or tell us on the phone. They need to name you within 60 days of first contacting us, before they sign.
3. You're thanked twice. $100 after they sign a qualifying contract and its cancellation period ends, and $150 after the project is complete and paid in full.

Who can refer

Anyone 18 or older: past customers, neighbors, friends, family, real estate agents, designers and trades. You don't need to be a TrueForm customer. If you'd be referring someone as part of a job or official role (for example as an employee, agent, trustee or public official), you can accept a reward only if your employer, client or ethics authority has approved it in writing. We don't pay referrals that the law or your workplace rules prohibit.

Sign Up to Refer

We use your contact details only to run the referral program and arrange your payment. By giving your phone number, you agree that TrueForm may call or text you about your referrals and payments. These are personal calls and texts, not automated or marketing messages. We won't send you marketing without your separate permission. We don't ask for your friends' phone numbers or emails, and we only contact them if they contact us. See our Privacy Policy.

Program terms

• The person you refer must be a homeowner who is new to TrueForm: not already a customer, and not already in contact with us about the same project.
• They must name you within 60 days of first contacting us, and before they sign.
• $100 is paid after they sign a written TrueForm remodeling contract of $5,000 or more and any cancellation period on that contract has ended. $150 is paid after that project is complete and paid in full.
• One referral reward per project. If more than one person is named, the first person named receives it.
• Not included: insurance-claim or disaster-recovery insurance repair projects; projects you're a party to, including your own home; and referrals by TrueForm owners, employees or their households.
• We pay by check or electronic payment within 30 days of each milestone.
• For tax reporting, we add up our payments for each calendar year by the person or business actually paid (your sponsoring brokerage, if it's paid instead of you). When reporting or withholding may apply, we'll ask that payee for a W-9 in time, apply any withholding the law requires, and file required forms by their deadlines. You're responsible for your own taxes.
• Never send your Social Security number, tax ID or bank details through this website or by ordinary email. We arrange tax forms and payment details with you through a secure, access-controlled method.
• Real estate license holders: before referring a client, tell them in writing: "My sponsoring brokerage may receive up to $250 from TrueForm if you hire them through my referral." Get your broker's approval. Before we accept your referral, your sponsoring broker must confirm to us in writing that the payment is permitted. We pay any eligible reward only to your sponsoring broker, and only where the law and your brokerage's rules allow it. We never pay for a referral the law prohibits, including a referral of a real estate settlement service under the federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).
• Rewards are for referrals, not reviews. No review is ever required, and a reward never depends on what anyone says about us.
• Whenever you recommend TrueForm to anyone (in person, by text or email, in a group, or publicly online), clearly mention the referral reward before or with your recommendation, using the wording that's true for you:
  • "I may receive up to $250 from TrueForm if you hire them through my referral."
  • Real estate license holders: "My sponsoring brokerage may receive referral compensation from TrueForm if you hire them through my referral."
• Share only what you honestly know about TrueForm. Don't promise prices, schedules, warranty terms or results on our behalf; point people to our website or have them call us for details.
• We may check public posts about TrueForm. If a required disclosure is missing or unclear, or a recommendation includes false or misleading claims about TrueForm, we'll ask you to fix it, and we may remove you from the program.
• We may change or end the program by updating this page. Referrals named before a change keep the terms that were on this page when they were named.
